The Challenge

Edge Opticals was a beloved brand in central Kerala’s tier-2 cities, built on trust, familiarity, and family-first values. But Kochi’s urban, style-driven market demanded something different; to be cool. The challenge was to shift perception from being a dependable optical store to a trendy lifestyle brand without losing its authenticity.

The Pop Take

We reimagined Edge as a fashion-forward urban brand, pairing sleek eyewear with a refined, contemporary aesthetic. To give the transformation a relatable face, we partnered with popular tech influencer Shazzam. His spontaneity, charisma, and genuine rapport with Kerala’s young audiences infused Edge with a vibe, elevating it into a lifestyle choice.

The Result

The influencer-led shift ignited a cultural spark in Kochi, repositioning Edge from a neighbourhood eyewear shop to a style authority. The authentic tone resonated across platforms, prompting LinkedIn conversations on how emerging brands win with relatable influencers over costly celebrities. Instagram and Facebook amplified the momentum, strengthening Edge’s identity as a modern trendsetter.
